Grant is the winningest local street car racer in recent history. He has won the title Alberta's Fastest Streetcar as many times as he has entered, and is undefeated in 100 foot drag competition. His 1969 Camaro equipped with 588 BBC and TH400 has propelled him to low 9's naturally aspirated and high 8's on nitrous. Grant has since sold his 588 and has something even more serious in the works.
Grant's other car is a 1968 Camaro with a Davenport built tube chassis and Richmond Engines 598 big chief engine. It has ran 8.20's at sea level with 1.18 short times. How deep into the 7's will it go with a sniff of nitrous?
Despite being busy with his twin girls and his demanding job, Grant builds all the TH400's for our group of friends. He says, "I'll get plenty of sleep when I'm dead." He has probably a dozen TH400's out there with several behind more than 1000 horsepower and nobody has hurt one yet.
Grant has not ran at the track this year but watch out for him in 2005! His shit always runs hard and he never lifts!
